The survey encompassed professionals in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, KSA,
Jordan, Lebanon and more and the data was collected online between
30th October and 22nd November 2009 with 13,847 respondents.

Egypt – 20 % broadband penetration in four years
According to Egypt’s Communications Minister, Tarek Kamel, the country is
currently preparing a USD 1 billion plan aimed at boosting internet penetration
fourfold in the next four years.
